Multiplier Events – Spreading NewFuture’s Impact Across Europe
As part of our commitment to sharing knowledge, building networks, and creating lasting impact, NewFuture organises a series of Multiplier Events (ME) in all partner countries — Germany, Austria, Portugal and Bulgaria.
These national events bring together VET professionals, mental health experts, educators, policymakers and community representatives to discuss and explore the project’s results — including the Training Kit for VET Professionals, the Guide for Volunteers and Community Leaders and the Animated Educational Videos on Mental Health. Each event provides an open space for exchange, reflection, and collaboration on how to strengthen mental wellbeing and inclusion in refugee support and vocational education.

Multiplier Event in Vienna, Austria
On 26 June 2025, the NewFuture Multiplier Event in Vienna, Austria, was successfully organised by BEST Institut für berufsbezogene Weiterbildung und Personaltraining GmbH. The event brought together trainers, counsellors, educators, and integration professionals from across Austria to explore the project’s innovative tools supporting refugees and migrants in vocational and educational settings.
Participants were introduced to the project’s three main results:
the Training Kit for VET Professionals,
the Guide for Volunteers and Community Leaders, and
the Animated Educational Videos on Mental Health.
The event focused on discussing trauma-informed approaches, mental wellbeing, and inclusive education, offering participants the opportunity to exchange experiences and identify ways to integrate NewFuture’s resources into everyday practice.
A key highlight of the event was the interactive session on cultural sensitivity and empathy-based communication, which sparked valuable dialogue among participants.

Multiplier Event in Ruse, Bulgaria
On 12 June 2025, the NewFuture Multiplier Event in Ruse, Bulgaria, was successfully organised by RCF – Right to Childhood Foundation. The event brought together professionals, educators, psychologists, NGO representatives, and local stakeholders to discuss effective ways of supporting refugees and vulnerable groups through mental health awareness and education.
During the event, participants were introduced to the project’s three core results:
the Training Kit for VET Professionals,
the Guide for Volunteers and Community Leaders, and
the Animated Educational Videos on Mental Health.
The discussions highlighted the importance of empathy-based education, cross-sector collaboration, and accessible, culturally sensitive tools that promote wellbeing and integration.

Multiplier Event in Castelo Branco, Portugal
On 9 June 2025, the NewFuture Multiplier Event in Castelo Branco, Portugal, was successfully organised by Mindshift , in collaboration with CLAIM – Centro Local de Apoio à Integração de Migrantes and GIP – Gabinete de Inserção Profissional de Castelo Branco, and hosted at Universidade Sénior Albicastrense (Usalbi).
The event, titled “Integração, Emprego e Bem-Estar Mental: Práticas e Recursos para Apoiar Refugiados e Migrantes”, brought together migrants from seven countries, as well as educators, social workers, and local stakeholders, to discuss approaches that promote mental wellbeing, inclusion, and employability for refugee and migrant communities.
During the event, participants were introduced to the project’s three core results:
the Training Kit for VET Professionals,
the Guide for Volunteers and Community Leaders, and
the Animated Educational Videos on Mental Health.
The event provided an open space for reflection and exchange on how these resources can be used to strengthen community work, vocational training, and integration initiatives.

4th Transnational Partner Meeting in Bochum, Germany

The day after the final conference, the NewFuture partners gathered for the 4th and final Transnational Partner Meeting.
This meeting focused on reviewing the overall progress and achievements of the project, discussing final evaluation results, and ensuring the long-term usability, accessibility and sustainability of all project results.luded with final evaluations, a collective reflection on the project’s impact, and a strong commitment to continuing cooperation beyond the project’s lifetime.
NewFuture Final Conference in Bochum, Germany

On 27 May 2025, QBS Gewerkstatt hosted the Final Conference of the NewFuture project in Bochum, Germany, marking the culmination of two years of dedicated collaboration to promote better mental wellbeing for refugees and migrants.
The event brought together educators, VET professionals, social workers, and policymakers
Throughout the event, participants took part in presentations, discussions, and interactive sessions, reflecting on the emotional, educational, and social impact of NewFuture.
Learning, Teaching, Training Activities (LTT)
& 3rd Transnational Partner Meeting
Learning, Teaching, Training Activities (LTT) – Vienna, September 2024
Following the Lisbon meeting, we hosted an LTT event in Vienna where VET professionals were trained using our newly developed materials.
The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, highlighting the practical applicability and relevance of the training content.
3rd Transnational Partner Meeting – Vienna, September 28, 2024
After the LTT, we convened in Vienna to review the outcomes and prepare for the next stages. This meeting focused on finalizing the materials for Project Result 1 and discussing the progress of Project Result 2 and 3, including viewing sample animations and planning the content development for the Volunteer Guide
2nd Transnational Meeting
From 21.05. – 22.05.2024 in Lisbon, Portugal was the second transnational meeting of the Erasmus+ co-funded project NEWFUTURE. Mindshift Talent Advisory had the pleasure to host the representatives from the other partnering institutions.
